Everybody likes a good potluck supper, and the Opera Scenes Showcase is the musical equivalent! You get a good little bit of all your favorite operas, and get to try tastes of some that might be new to you. There is a wide variety of music with tunes from Die Zauberflöte to Carmen to The Mikado. This gives you a chance get to see talented young singers stretch their wings and try on new repertoire.

Coverini will be playing the first spirit in Die Zauberflöte, Isabel in The pirates of Penzance as well as chorus for Carmen, La fille du régiment and La traviata.

The performance will be held in the Anderson Auditorium at Centenary College (Shreveport, Louisiana) on July 8th following the Aria Extravaganza performance.
